Last week marked a new milestone in the development of AerData. On Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th October, AerData hosted their first Customer and Partner Conference. Held at the iconic Beurs van Berlage, in the historic centre of Amsterdam, the conference brought together over 100 customers, partners and staff on a personal level that had, until then, never been attempted before.
The event was deemed a roaring success based largely on the high levels of interaction between all attending members. Broken into case studies, new products and workshops focusing on CMS, STREAM and EFPAC, customers could choose the sessions they wanted to attend, and still make the most of the discussion sessions and networking in between each speaker.
A large thank you must be sent to our inspirational guest speakers from GECAS, Avolon, and easyJet who offered real life case studies and Q&A sessions that helped the event achieve the interactive element that it sought. Thanks also to our speakers from Core Financials, RepairManager, AtlasData and GEARS which hopefully served as an introduction to other products and services in the AerData portfolio.
The aim of the conference was to bring customers together, to encourage conversations and discussions not just about AerData, but the industry as a whole. Feedback from the event has been overwhelmingly positive, with many customers remarking on the professional approach and saying that they couldn’t tell that it was our first conference.
The conference was followed by drinks and canapés in a local wine bar, Bubbles & Wines, followed by a dinner cruise around Amsterdam’s beautiful canals, a real highlight!
The aviation industry is a small one, despite its value, and the conference provided the chance for people who have maybe emailed or spoken on the phone to meet face to face in a relaxed but professional environment. We believe networking is important to the continued growth of the industry, and AerData not only understands the need for, but is keen to encourage the networking of its clients and partners.
Another aim of the conference was to inform clients about current functionalities that are not being utilised either at all or to full potential, and to advise on pending system enhancements, but it also served as a platform for customer to share their questions, priorities and ideas in a public forum.
