When AtlasData was launched, it was entering an industry sector that was already dominated by one Aviation Data Application. However, not to be discouraged, AtlasData swiftly set about to establish themselves as the providers of a unique Aviation Data tool. This removed the need for self-programmed queries, and replaced it with a dynamic web-based application that enables users to move seamlessly through the data; compiling reports and exporting data to their own local drives. Fleet information is received on a daily basis and is input accordingly, which ensures that the database offers not only high quality, but accurate information too.
Within three months of its launch, strong partnerships were forged with two other leading names within the Aviation Sector to deliver additional modules to the AtlasData tool, thus helping the application, and AerData, to strengthen their foothold within this new avenue of business.
The Avitas module, when activated, allows users to view the Bluebook values of aircraft. It is updated every six months, when the new data is compiled.
The second module, and the newest expansion is with AirFax, which means that AtlasData can be used not only for determining the status of Aircraft for leasing purposes but also with respect to sales and market availability. With AirFax providing updated information on a bi-weekly basis, AtlasData ensures that what clients see is reliable and up to date. These factors combined mean users will be able to run detailed market analysis within the application and thus better predict coming trends.
Managing a fleet is about more than just leases; sales play an important role too. This knowledge and experience goes someway to explaining how the AerData brand has, in a relatively short space of time, cemented themselves at the top of the Aviation industry ladder.
With over eighty free trials activated in the initial AtlasData free trial period, we are convinced that a high demand has been created, and with that comes an increased expectancy. Product development is one of AerData’s strong suits, and so the goals for 2013 have been set at accordingly, with enhancements being planned on two levels;
The first is through the continued enhancement of current services, including development of more advanced Forecasting and Trend Analysis components. These are the type of advancements that will keep AtlasData ahead of the competition.”
The second level is through the increase in degree of asset information that is visible to clients by means of a number of direct links set up between AtlasData and multiple OEMs.
AtlasData is located within the AerData Dashboard environment, which is the hub of all AerData products. That said, one does not need to be a user of another product in order to gain additional data. The systems are at this point in time separate entities, and while there is the potential for links to be made between the products, it remains to be seen if this is a feasible or necessary option.
The main goal of course is to create and maintain an established base for the software in its own right, and with so many strong steps already made, 2013 looks to be a very promising year for AtlasData.
